interiors

Kristy’s passion for interiors emerged from a career in fashion, bringing her full circle to her foundation in textile design. While her appreciation for fabric runs deep, it’s her instinct for color that sets her apart. She perceives how colors quietly speak to one another—often in ways that feel almost mystical—and how, in perfect harmony, they can bring a sense of balance and completion to a room. With an intuitive eye for sourcing, she selects pieces that add depth and character to a space, whether contemporary or storied. Her work is grounded in the belief that the most resonant interiors are those that feel timeless, inviting, and deeply authentic.

With seven years of experience as a fashion buyer, Kristy brings the same curatorial eye to both residential interiors and commercial environments. Each winter, she assembles a considered mix of fashion, design, and lifestyle brands for Farm Stand—a 13-week retail concept set within the Wellington International Show Jumping competition. What began as a seasonal pop-up has evolved into a destination: a dynamic space that blends thoughtful retail with spatial design, celebrating craftsmanship, community, and the spirit of discovery.

Shared Space

Farm Stand is a small-scale expression of the principles of New Urbanism—an ongoing source of inspiration for Kristy in how she thinks about design. The project is rooted in the idea of creating a true sense of place, especially one deeply connected to nature. Her aim is to approach each space with thoughtfulness and sustainability, cultivating environments that foster connection, well-being, and a genuine sense of belonging.

Nestled beneath a canopy of cypress trees, Farm Stand is a thoughtful retreat. More than a retail experience, it offers the community a place to slow down, recharge, and feel at home. Alongside a rotating selection of curated fashion and design brands, the concept features four local food offerings—born from a desire to introduce healthier, more intentional dining to the showgrounds. Kristy approaches Farm Stand as a layered experience: a place where space, story, and object converge to create something uniquely beautiful and deeply considered.
